Basil Sauce
In the Iblei region, there isn’t a farmhouse that isn’t surrounded by basil plants. Starting from this observation, we wanted to create a sauce with simple ingredients but rich in taste and flavor: a metaphor for the authenticity of Ortoledda’s journey, where the unmistakable aroma of Mediterranean cuisine is unleashed. The addition of garlic and oil completes the recipe, making it perfect for dressing pasta and bringing a piece of Sicily to the table with every bite.
