We are proud to produce and sign preserved foods in oil, crafted in Sicily according to the traditional recipes of a land with a centuries-old agricultural and gastronomic culture. All our preserves highlight the flavor and freshness of vegetables grown using natural methods, prioritizing top-quality ingredients and containing no artificial colors or preservatives.

Our artichokes come from specialized farms located between Caltagirone and Niscemi, known for their well-drained, sun-drenched soils. They are processed within 24 hours of harvest without the use of brine. Only the hearts of the finest artichokes fill our elegant glass jars, along with pure sunflower oil, garlic, mint, salt, and a touch of chili pepper.

From cherry tomatoes to olives, eggplants to peppers, and pâtés to pestos, our preserved foods in oil never cease to amaze with their quality and authenticity. They prioritize top-quality ingredients and contain no artificial colors or preservatives. Artichokes, Pachino tomatoes, eggplants, and olives are grown in Sicily, a land rich in unique fruits, flavors, and aromas.

Ortoledda is us: Pippo, Caterina, and Michele—a Sicilian family driven by a passion for the fine things of the past and the agricultural and gastronomic traditions of our land. Here, among the green countryside of Caltagirone, beside our facility, which is now a highlight of Sicilian food industry, we have created ORTOLEDDA HOUSE, a tasting space where you can sample our products.
