In the small village of Grammichele, not far from Catania, preservation of vegetables, olive oil has a history. From this tradition, Giuseppe Ledda had the opportunity to relive old recipes with oil from Sicily, the same as those at Ledda home were handed down from generation to the other , with genuine respect for the past and the careful application of many strict hygienic and sanitary standarts. Joseph, in his small handicraft industry builted in the 1996 and put in action in 2000, with the crucial help of the law 44 on youth entrepreneurship, reinterprets the ancient wisdom of preserved vegetables ennobled by the oil valuable and the careful use of aromatic herbs. |  |
 | Sense, traditions and ”soft” techniques forms of culture are the fulcrum where the concept of "quality with style" turns around,located under each of the Ortoledda cover vegetables jars. Ispica’s red tomatoes, Ragusa’s long eggplants , tender lampascioni of Grammichele, Niscemi’s succulent artichokes, precious "Nocellara olives" from Etna, are collected at the right moment of ripeness and inflexible meticulously selected.
